When Connecting to Windows Azure Virtual Network from Linksys ( Not Cisco ) RV042, preshared key is limited to 30 characters in the router.

Can the preshared key be replaced by some other form of authentication which is possible? or

Can the preshared key length be reduced to 30 characters as needed by linksys RV042 router?
