Can the Azure VPN bypass the network blockade to access Facebook like using proxy server?

I successfully configure the "Point to Site" VPN on Azure, I can see my IPV4 address is 10.0.0.4 by ipconfig /all. But I don't yet access some blocked sites like Facebook.

Actually I want to access internet via Azure VPN not via my Local Area Connection, so that I can access some blocked sites like Facebook. My requirement is similar with using Proxy Server.

Can it be implemented to access the internet via "Azure Virtual Network Point to Site" VPN, rather that via my Local Area Connection?

Can the Azure VPN implement Proxy Server's function? Why I see there are many VPN that charge fee that can bypass the network blockade?

What is the VPN used as? is it only used to access internal resource that joined into VPN? Can I use VPN to access the blocked sites?

For example, it assumes you cannot access Google in China, but you can access Google in China by using VPN which can be bought from some company. I am not sure that these company only use VPN technology or use VPN + Proxy Server. As far as I know it is by changing your local IP to bypass the network blockade, when you use such VPN, your IP will be an America IP.

so I want to know why my IP can be an America IP if using their VPN. Why cannot Azure VPN do it? is it implemented by VPN or Proxy Server? how to implement Proxy Server with Microsoft technology?
