Issue with shared drives from VM to PC with VPN

Hi all,

I'm having issues with accessing my shared drives on the VM from my PC.

I'm connected to the VPN I have setup and can connect through RDP to the VM through the internal IP address.

However any shared drives I create (Etc. C:\Shared\) cannot be accessed from the PC connected through VPN.

The Internal IP Address of the VM is 10.0.0.4.

I have attempted to map the network drive using the login information, changed the network settings to private and share drives public.

I found this in the documentation, but can't find the registry it is referring to, I do not have one called "DisableDomainCreds" https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/vpn-gateway/vpn-gateway-troubleshoot-vpn-point-to-site-connection-problems#vpn-client-cannot-access-network-file-share
I'd also appreciate not having to change registry keys just to access a shared drive.

Below is a Network Diagram if useful.
I can also provide other information as neccessary.
