I'm in the process of tearing my entire resource group down and rebuilding it. However, I an unable to delete an ExpressRoute connection object and, therefore, the virtual network gateway, gateway subnet, vnet, etc. As usual, error message is of very little use:
Failed to delete connection 'ER-PROD'. Error: An error occured.
All pre-requisites for deletion have been completed. I am just unable to remove this object.
Deleting the entire resource group also fails as it cannot delete this one object. I've tried powershell, portal and resources.azure.com.

We apologize for the experience and inconvenience. At this stage, our engineers have identified a software error that was introduced during a recent deployment as the potential root cause and are actively working to resolve the issue by rolling out a hotfix. Please perform this operation tomorrow and see if this works.
