I have a set of VMs behind an internal load balancer (has private IP on same subnet as VMs). Now I want to hit the front-end IP of the ILB from the VMs that make up the back end of the ILB. My connections always time out. My subnet has
an NSG with the default rules only and the windows firewall is turned off on the VMs. If I try to hit the ILB front end IP from my workstation over an expressroute connection it works perfectly. Is this not supported?
