Help with preparing for on-premise AD bridge to Azure.

Our infrastructure team has allocated a private IP range for our Azure VMs that will participate in the on-premise ActiveDirectory to Azure bridge. We have a few existing VMs in Azure now that have their own isolated resource group and share a virtual network (all default settings under the Azure VM Classic model).

To prepare for the integration I create a new Virtual Network in Azure portal and assigned it the dedicated private IP range. I also created a new Resource Group and added it to the new virtual network. I then processed to attempt to change one of the existing VM's Resource Group

I'm opting to move the storage account and cloud service but leave the virtual network. I select my new virtual network as target and a job begins in Notifications indicating the move is happening... The job runs for hours then stops running. The VM remains in the same Resource Group and apparently has not been moved. Notification logs in Azure Portal are clear. I have no indication of a failure.

How can I get detailed information about what went wrong and advice on the correct steps. The goal is to have select VMs in our Azure Subscriptioning assigned to a Resource Group that belongs to a Virtual Network with private IP range to play friendly with on-premise LAN.

Thanks for taking the time to read what I'm dealing with. Any tips are greatly appreciated.

Jeremy
