Hi Guys,
I am hoping to be able to use Azure to do all of my DNS as the current registrar charges me for every change and I have to book it in (very inconvenient).
I have setup 40 zones in Azure DNS using this document https://azure.microsoft.com/en-gb/documentation/articles/dns-getstarted-create-dnszone/
When doing the 'check' step in NSLOOKUP, the lookup succeeds but I see a generic response (the host is a series of letters not the actual primary name server) moreover if I change the lookup to type=all I do not see the other records I created on each zone, I only see the SOA record?
Thinking this might be ok I attempted to get the current domain registrar to delegate to AZURE but once this was done everything stopped working, luckily we did this one Friday evening so we just rolled the delegation back and was back on byt Saturday morning.
Have I missed a step in configuring my DNS zones in AZURE? why can I see only the SOA (and not even the correct details on the record)? in the UI I can still see the other records but its like AZURE doesn't know they are there.
Thanks for any help you might provide.
Regards,
Aaron
