We use Site-to-Site connectivity at Azure.
Have 2 AD servers with DNS installed at Azure. 2 other AD servers on-premise with same settings.
Many of the Azure VM's are showing the same IP for multiple machines. So I have to clean them up manually.
We use an automation script to shutdown (deallocated) several machines every night and bring them up in the morning.
Some machines are shutdown (deallocated) for several weeks/months.
I don't think I want to use scavanging in DNS, but not sure how I can automatically clean up DNS since this is causing issues with our machines that we power up in the morning.
Is there a setting I should be using in DNS to automatically clean up or a script I can run?
Not sure how to solve this.
Thanks for any help.
