OBJECTIVE

To get file access for my local network to my Azuree VM through a site to site VPN

SET UP

I have a Cisco ASA 5505 firewall running version 8.3 for the OS
I set up an Azure VNET with the following IP ranges

Azure Network - 10.10.0.0 / 22         (1024 hosts)
Subnet for VMs - 10.10.1.0 / 24        (251 hosts)
Subnet for Gateway - 10.10.2.0 / 24 (251 hosts)

The firewall Site to Site VPN was configured using the script provided on the Azure Network.

After a successful connection indicated in the Azure portal I created a VM providing the IP addressing above.

The servers Azure network IP is 10.10.1.4 and is accessible via RDP using its public address.

The local site has an network address of 192.168.2.0

PROBLEM

=============

I have a site to site VPN that seems to be up according to the Azure portal.
I have a server that is definitely up via RDP but the Azure Server has no ability to access my local network and vice versa.
I have also allowed the server firewall to accept ICMP requests to ensure that's not hanging me up.

Any ideas???

It amazes me that this wont work using the script provided from the Azure site specifically made for the ASA 5505!!!
