I am trying to set up BGP between my network and Azure's network. We are using Azure Expressroute co-located at our data center. I ran the command "New-AzureBGPPeering" to set up the BGP configuration, but I am not seeing any connection established. I am not sure if this is due to a misconfiguration with my router/switches or I missed a command. I have read numerous articles on how to get BGP set up but nothing has helped. Is there someone who has set up BGP that can help me with this? Additional items that I want to confirm:
1. What IP address is assigned to the Azure side if I give a /30 network?
2. What does the "New-AzureBGPPeering" command actually do? Does it establish the neighbor relationships? Does it set a router-ID? What other actions does it do?
