Hi all
I use the Point-To-Site feature to connect several on-premise computers from different corporate networks to my Azure Virtual Network. It works, but how can I access my computers using a DNS name?
Previously, with Azure Connect, when "ComputerA" and "ComputerB" were connected, I could ping/connect from "ComputerA" to "ComputerB" by using the hostname identifier.
But with Virtual Network it only works when I enter the IP address directly, e.g. 10.0.2.2, and of course, I don't know what IP Addresses ComputerA and ComputerB will be assigned beforehand. The connection specific DNS suffix for the VPN Adapter is empty.
Do I really need to setup my own DNS server for this? I think this worked out of the box for Azure Connect before.
Thank you very much for your help.
