Azure Data Centre Connectivity

Hello,

We are in the process of rolling out Dynamics NAV 2013 R2 to all our subsidiaries around the world.  currently we are using a hosting company data centre in USA and users connect via remoteapp over vpn.

In this data centre we run a number of other services which require integration to the various NAV companies/databases.

Currently we are working in APAC and we are seeing performance issues due to network latency etc.....hence the reason for looking into moving to Azure as there are data centres located within APAC that provide far superior performance.

However, I think we would be looking at multiple Azure data centres as we have locations throughout the world.

My question is, are the Azure data centres connected so we could transfer information between the various NAV implementations and could we still connect to the data centre in USA so that each Azure data centre we utilise would still be able to use the other services provided such as integration to other applications.

I'm in my early stages of learning about Azure but from what I understand so far, I believe this is the correct way to go providing the above is possible.

Any help, support and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks in  anticipation.

Nick
