I need to be able to establish a remote desktop connection to an Azure VM as a basic session not as an enhanced session.
This has to do with Cisco AnyConnect client and our company VPN settings. I cannot create a VPN connection from an enhanced RDP session but I can create that connection from a basic session and then change to an enhanced session. That is what I am doing from my Hyper-V VM. When I establish a Remote Desktop connection to the Azure VM I don't get the enhanced/basic session icon on the menu bar.
How do I change my RDP session for an Azure VM to be a basic session?
