Hi,
I have a Static Routing VPN between Azure and my Juniper SSG 320 (running ScreenOS 6.3.0r17.0).
For most of the time the VPN is up and the traffic between my on-prem network and the Azure network is flowing.
But about every 8 hours we expereince a drop in the connection. I notice this as in I loose the Remote Desktop connection I have open to the VM running in Azure. I am also unable to ping the VM in Azure from my on-prem network.
To be more specific this seem to happen every 7 hours and 40 minutes. The Juniper SSG 320 do show the following in the log:
2014-12-15 08:02:49 critical VPN 'Azure VPN' from <AzureGatewayIP> is up.
2014-12-15 08:02:17 critical VPN 'Azure VPN' from <AzureGatewayIP> is down.
I have configured the VPN on the SSG 320 as described in this article http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/azure/dn133796.aspx#BKMK_SSGStatic
During the last two weeks I have had a support case open with Juniper regarding this issue. They are starting to run out of ideas and would like me to collect data from the Azure side.
I wonder, is there anyone on this forum that might have experienced the same issue as me and have something else I could try?
Also, how would I go on to get detaild information on what is happening on the Azure side of the VPN?
Regards Erik
