I am located in the UAE and my company is hosting Dynamics NAV 2013 in Azure Southeast Asia (Singapore). The server was initially in the US but moved to the new region to improve latency issues. On azurespeedtest.net, the pings went down from about 350 ms to 150 ms.
However since the past week the pings have gone up again to 300+ ms which makes using the application very painful (client installed on local machines connecting thought WAN exposed ports). Have there been any recent incidents that would have caused the latency to go up this much?
Follow up question, would using Azure ExpressRoute (offered by Equinix UAE) help alleviate this issue?
