Azure VPN Gateway Encryption Algorithm

Hi,

I would like to find out if i can change or specify encryption algorithm (AES256 or 3DES) for the azure gateway during or after the gateway creation. If not, then how does the gateway knows what encryption algorithm i am using on my VPN device and how does it resolves it.

Can i use either algorithm and gateway automatically knows which one i used and enables the same on azure side?
