Azure VM not able to contact local DNS servers

We have setup a Windows 2012 RRAS server in order to connect to our Azure network.

Quick background on our setup : The RRAS is virtual (hyperv) and has 2x NICs (one internally facing and one externally). The server is internet facing and using nat'd addresses. The connection to azure is stable and showing as connected, also the azure dashboard shows the graph view as connected. From the RRAS we can access the web as well as internal servers.

Azure Local Networks:

VPN Gatway: 202.45.x.x

Address Space: 192.168.0.0/23

Azure Virtual Networks:

Address space: 10.7.0.0/16

   -WebFrontEnd - 10.7.0.0/19

   -Subnet2 - 10.7.32.8/29

   -Gateway - 10.7.32.0/29

DNS:

FQDN - 192.168.0.3

FQDN- 192.168.0.5

Utilizing the RRAS server we are able to rdp to connect using the external endpoints to a VM. Once in the VM we are unable to access anything externally or internally. We cannot ping the onsite DNS servers neither. If we run an ipconfig we are able to see the correct ip allocated and see the correct DNS servers specified.

We are not sure if a static routes required or if anyone can provide further assistance.

Thanks in advance
