Hoping someone can help us with our dilemma. We are currently evaluating whether we should move our intranet apps to Azure. We have determined that Site-to-Site is the option for us.
Our Site-to-Site VPN connection is up. We can ping the DC, DNS from the Azure VM and we can ping the Azure VMs from the DNS. One big problem is that the Azure VMs could not join the on-premise domain. The error is:
"An Active Directory Domain Controller (AD DC) for the domain "hq" could not be contacted".
Despite the fact the we can ping both ways. I have turned off the Firewall, Anti-virus. I have followed the documentations, added the IP range in the DC, still no luck. I'm not a network admin, hoping someone can lead us to the right direction as we are ready to give up on Azure. Thanks in advance.
