We have a VM configured and a Site to Site VPN configured also, all working great.
We have since discovered that clients need access to the 2012 server from locations outside of the site that is connected currently by VPN.
We attempted to create a Site to Site and Point to Point hybrid network but as soon as the Gateway becomes Dynamic our Draytek will not connect to the Site to Site IPSec. Seems we aren't the only ones here.
We thought about configuring RRAS on the Windows VM but it doesn't look like that is a method for connecting remote workers that will work?
Are we missing something obvious? We want remote workers to be able to view Network shares and also gain access to a DB via a desktop application.
